  1. …..I have had a lady do exactly the same to me. I don’t think gender is relavent, more likely the partner who wishes to dominate and therefore manipulate. When you have a disability it becomes more than apparent the able-bodied feel they are somehow pressed to responsibility. Not everyone of course, but these comments, have been received, I recognise so many from this article and I am not crazy and not a woman?

      I agree. Gender is irrelevant in this case; it is simply a human to human kind of interaction, a sort of judgement that we choose to make. Perhaps it is not just the desire to dominate and the feeling of superiority. Rather, the offender does not have the sufficient capability of handling the situation (such as a person’s expressive nature).
